Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or related science discipline.
• Minimum of 15 semester hours of chemistry coursework.
• Knowledge of EPA, ASTM, Standard Methods, and other analytical reference standards.
• Understanding of laboratory quality-control requirements.
• Ability to follow technical SOPs and analytical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental, compliance, and operational laboratory testing.
• Conduct chemical analyses using laboratory instruments and analytical methodologies.
• Follow EPA, ASTM, Standard Methods, and other reference standards.
• Establish and monitor analytical data quality-control requirements.
• Review sample data and identify potential analytical issues.
• Troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and resolve issues.
• Maintain instrument performance and laboratory equipment.
