Job summary

Pace is hiring a Scientist 1 for our onsite lab in Sheridan, WY. You will conduct hands-on analysis of environmental samples using GC, HPLC, ICP, and related methods, ensuring data quality and compliance.

The role requires a degree in chemistry or related fields and willingness to work in a lab with PPE and safety protocols. The position is full-time and on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a pay rate of $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field; training available.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment and follow PPE requirements.
• Strong documentation and data recording skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and other analytical instruments.
• Analyze air, water and soil samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results and maintain accurate lab records.
• Document procedures, observations and results clearly and completely.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
