Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Scientist to prepare and analyze environmental samples in compliance with QA programs. The role involves handling solvents, glassware, and specialized equipment, with a 2nd shift schedule from 3pm to 11:30pm.

Qualifications include a BS/BA in a relevant field (or 2 years lab experience) and English proficiency. Training is provided for instrument software and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Professional working proficiency in English, reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine lab tasks to build experience with methods, practices and programs.
• Sample preparation using standard techniques.
• Chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Evaluation and quantification of data.
• Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Performing routine instrument maintenance.
