Environmental Lab Engineer

About Project Kuiper:

Amazon's initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide broadband connectivity globally.

Role Overview:

As a Lab Engineer in Project Kuiper's Environmental Test Lab, you will support test execution, troubleshoot issues, develop guides, and improve processes to ensure efficient and reliable testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to technicians during tests, resolve issues, and assist with equipment setup.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting guides for hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Manage non-conformance reports and coordinate resolutions.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Ensure readiness of tooling, fixtures, and support hardware.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a test or manufacturing environment, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in test automation tools (LabView, Python).
• Experience with MES systems.
