Eastman Chemical Company in Longview, TX is seeking an Environmental Lab Analyst to perform chemical analyses on routine samples using GC-MS, ICP-OES, TOC, and pH testing. You will login samples, maintain instruments, troubleshoot, and ensure data quality under NELAP/TCEQ standards.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word. Preference for an AS in chemistry; bachelor's preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform chemical analyses on routine samples using GC-MS and related techniques.
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments and troubleshoot when needed.
• Review results, investigate outliers, and prepare data validation packets.
• Communicate results to customers and report non-regulatory findings.
