Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Cedar Falls, IA seeks an Analyst to prepare and analyze environmental samples per EPA methods and Eurofins QA programs. The position is temporary, onsite, and supports the Organic Prep Analyst team.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry-related degree or HS diploma with lab experience; training will be provided. Shifts are 12PM-8PM or 2:30PM-10:30PM, starting at $17.75/hr, with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred.
• HS Diploma Required.
• 1-2 years laboratory experience preferred but training available.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility.
• Performs routine lab tasks including sample prep, chemical analysis, data calculation, and reporting.
• Performs routine instrument maintenance and ensures compliance with EHS/QA standards.
• Housekeeping in the work area.
• Become trained on instrumentation such as GC, GC/MS, AAS, ICP.
