Job summary
Woodside Energy invites undergraduates to participate in the Environmental Summer Internship Program within the USA Early Career Pathways initiative. Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting environmental stewardship, regulatory priorities, and sustainability efforts across Woodside's U.S.
business. Projects may include environmental compliance, emissions reduction, waste and water management, biodiversity, regulatory research, and data reporting while collaborating with seasoned HSE
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Health, or related field.
- Rising junior or senior with an expected graduation date of Spring 2028 through Spring 2029.
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university for the full duration of the 2027 internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30.
- Available for a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive weeks during Summer 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., F-1).
- Agree to complete pre-employment screening and understand that correspondence will primarily be conducted via email.
- Agree not to toutilizeAI or AI-assisted tools during any part of the application or interview process
Responsibilities
- Environmental compliance projects and emissions/sustainability initiatives.
- Environmental data collection, reporting, and permitting activities.
- Waste management, water management, and biodiversity considerations.
- Regulatory research and assessment of environmental risk.
- Support operational environmental performance improvements.
