Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in geology, environmental sciences or related field.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate initiative and leadership.
• Detail-oriented and organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic understanding of construction and generally accepted business practices.
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior.
• Previous related internship experience.

Responsibilities

• As Environmental Intern, assist with environmental management by reviewing documentation and advising on environmental matters per company policies.
• Support project management team in developing and executing site-specific environmental plans and activities.
• Participate in project planning and environmental risk analysis.
• Assist with implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Assist with onsite best management practices for environmental management.
• Document and report environmental violations, non-compliance conditions, and other duties as assigned.
