Job summary

Mortenson in Denver is offering an Environmental Intern internship designed to provide hands-on experience with real projects. You will assist the environmental team by reviewing documentation, advising on environmental matters, and aiding in day-to-day activities at the Denver, CO office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate four-year degree in geology, natural & earth sciences, construction management, environmental engineering, environmental management, environmental science, or other related degree
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior

Responsibilities

• Support project management team in developing and executing site specific environmental plans and activities
• Participate in and contribute to project planning and environmental risk analysis
• Assist with implementation of policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all environmental regulations
• Assist with onsite best management practices for environmental management
• Document and report environmental violations, non-compliance conditions, etc.
