Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science is required.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's program for the internship duration is required.
• Strong academic performance is expected.
• On-site work availability at 40 hours per week is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and traverse stairs/ladders safely.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work travel are required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and develop environmental policies and guidelines for the company.
• Provide guidance to implement and administer requirements, including budget inputs.
• Design or review environmental engineering designs and cost estimates.
• Identify and investigate environmental problems and recommend solutions to management.
• Stay informed about environmental laws and regulatory changes; prepare permits as needed.
• Develop environmental training materials and inform employees about policies.
