About The Role

Environmental Insurance Producer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Producer managing the West Coast territory. As a specialist in this field, you will play a crucial role in working with our partner agencies to craft effective coverage for their clients. Utilizing Beacon Hill’s extensive market relationships, you will be uniquely situated to bring the industry’s best solutions to the table for your clients.

Responsibilities Of The Position Include

  • Handle and renew a book of existing business assigned to you.
  • Generate new business opportunities from those relationships and through others developed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client needs in partnership with our agents, and provide personalized insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients, team members and underwriters to design and customize insurance solutions for clients.
  • Be an active participant in internal discussions about risks, coverages, markets and other industry developments.
  • Network and expand your agent relationships through in person agency visits, trade shows and annual conventions.
  • Utilize our management system on a day-to-day basis to track policies, update client information, and manage workflows.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to continually enhance expertise.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to expand our client base in your territory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree: preferred
  • Active Property and Casualty license required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, preferably with an exposure to environmental or energy coverages.
  • Physically located in the West Coast Region. This will be a remote position but ideal candidate will be located in California or neighboring state with knowledge of the unique landscape of the west coast insurance market
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products and risk management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $180,000-$200,000 and will be eligible for additional discretionary bonus opportunity after two years. This compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
