Job summary

Pace Analytical is seeking an Environmental Inorganic Manager to oversee lab, service, and field operations. The role requires leading staff, scheduling services, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple programs.

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, and resolving escalated issues with internal teams and external partners to meet client needs and company objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience including leadership.
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lab, service, or field operations and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff including hiring, training, development, engagement, performance evaluations, and compensation recommendations.
• Oversee scheduling of services and results to achieve operational goals and allocate leadership resources.
• Develop and align strategies, programs, policies, and procedures for assigned lab, service, or field areas.
• Lead equipment reviews and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Resolve escalated customer and operational issues; coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
• Manage departmental budgets, including resource allocation and expenditures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency within the department.
