Job summary

The incumbent will develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate UF/IFAS Extension Pathway initiatives, align with county priorities, and supervise at least one Program Assistant.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or 50% toward master's plus qualifying experience.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, nursery and landscape management.
• Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs.
• Knowledge of landscape best practices and environmental stewardship.
• Supervise staff and manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental horticulture Extension programs.
• Deliver workshops, field days, webinars, and training events.
• Prepare fact sheets, newsletters, and digital resources.
• Evaluate program outcomes and impact; document reporting.
• Lead integration of new technologies and outreach methods.
