Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, safety, and security programs at a Tier 1 automotive supplier's manufacturing facility in Alabama. You will drive safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA and environmental regs), lead audits and safety visits, and conduct root cause investigations while cultivating a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

• CSP certification is preferred.

A Tier 1 automotive supplier is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, safety, and security programs for its manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for driving safety initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading audits and safety visits, conducting root cause investigations, and developing a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of EHS experience
• 3+ years of management experience
• Manufacturing experience required, automotive preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
• Experience leading 5 Why investigations and root cause analysis
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

• CSP Certification
• Experience in stamping, welding, or e-coat operations
• Experience working in a Japanese/American manufacturing environment
