Penn Medicine is seeking a Housekeeper to clean patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas at Lancaster General Hospital's LGH Suburban Outpatient Pavilion. The role maintains hospital standards through consistent cleaning and attention to detail.

Under supervision, you will follow procedures, perform routine tasks, and ensure a safe, sanitary environment. HS diploma preferred; 6 months hospitality/medical housekeeping experience preferred; schedule: 6:00pm–2:30am, Mon–Fri, weekends off.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma/GED is required or preferred.
  • Six (6) months of experience in hospitality/medical housekeeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and services patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas to hospital standards.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization across Lancaster General Hospital facilities.
  • Performs repetitive cleaning tasks with attention to detail and safeguards.
  • Works under supervision with clear instruction and routine procedures.

Summary
  • Under the director of Environmental Services Manager and Administrative Supervisor, the Housekeeper cleans and services patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas, maintaining the standards of Lancaster General Hospital.
  • ATTENTION CONCENTRATION ‑ The following level of ability is essential for the jobholder to focus on certain aspects of current experience and reject others:

Education or Equivalent Experience
  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • Six (6) months of experience in hospitality/medical housekeeping is preferred.
