The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician will help maintain and improve the environmental, health, and safety programs at Qorvo. Responsibilities include routine compliance activities, working with the site EHS Manager and Sr EHS Engineer to ensure adherence to regulations, recommending corrections, and implementing safety initiatives, audits, emergency response management, and overall program improvements.

Critical Skills Required:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Candidate Criteria:

• Use of information or access to hardware subject to ITAR regulations.
• Onsite role; candidates must reside near Richardson, TX. No relocation benefits offered.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections to identify hazards and compliance status, including emergency supplies, signage, fire extinguishers, waste, and equipment.
• Coordinate inspections with vendors, participate in the Emergency Response Team, and conduct training.
• Update signage, assist with audits, and identify safety improvement opportunities.
• Support new EHS initiatives, develop regulatory knowledge, and ensure compliance.
• Require 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of federal and Texas safety regulations, proficiency in MS Office, strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or similar in Occupational Safety or related field.
• OSHA 10-hour certification, HazWOPER certification, and emergency response experience.
• Understanding of EHS principles, root cause analysis, and job hazard analysis.
