We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to support a regulated medical device contract manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the site’s primary EHS leader, with a strong focus on plant‑floor safety, regulatory compliance, and safety culture.

This position is ideal for an EHS professional who has built their career inside a manufacturing environment and understands how to balance operational realities with regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage site-level EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership to promote an accident-free, healthy workplace
  • Review safety requirements for new machinery, equipment, and facility changes
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across manufacturing operations
  • Develop and deliver EHS training (emergency response, safety procedures, regulatory compliance)
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
  • Administer OSHA logs, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs
  • Serve as an internal consultant on ergonomics, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials, and chemical safety
What We’re Looking For
  • EHS experience within a manufacturing environment (regulated manufacturing strongly preferred)
  • Hands‑on, practical safety leadership on the shop floor
