Role Overview

The EHS Manager supports various disciplines within our rigging group to ensure efficient, safe operations, and promotes a culture of safety at our Dallas location. Responsibilities include developing safety policies, conducting audits, managing incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain EHS policies and programs supporting safety culture and regulatory compliance.
2. Conduct safety training and support OSHA compliance.
3. Assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
4. Manage safety programs such as SIPP, Hot-work permits, Confined Space, SDS, and others.
5. Perform routine site audits and inspections.
6. Develop safety procedures, JHAs, and daily safety plans.
7. Manage injury protocols and claims processes.
8. Maintain safety records, reports, and OSHA logs.
9. Address safety violations promptly and develop ongoing safety training.
10. Coordinate safety activities across regional management.
11. Develop reports on safety metrics and maintain external relationships with safety organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of EHS experience, preferably in heavy construction.
• 3+ years in a leadership role developing safety programs.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Current OSHA 500/501 certification or ability to obtain within six months.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in multi-site organizations, CHST, ASP, CSP certifications.
• Crane and rigging safety experience.
