The Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible to manage and lead the site EHS programs by providing strategic and tactical direction, leadership, and technical support by acting as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME) and facilitator for all EHS related programs and topics.
Responsibilities :
The EHS Manager will ensure systems are in place to comply with all Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements such as: OSHA, EPA, GA EPD, and any other regulations as they apply to site operations.
The chosen Candidate will be expected to maximize employee involvement to engage and motivate workers to ultimately reduce workplace incidents by promoting safe behaviors and solid follow-up on addressing issues identified through site inspections, risk assessments, and incident trend analysis. They will also investigate and manage incidents to determine root cause and corrective actions needed to prevent re-occurrence and utilize Gensuite for tracking all safety and environmental required tasks and incidents as they occur.
As a member of the Leadership Team, The EHS Manager will be responsible for providing timely and effective communications as needed on EHS related topics to Staff as well as financial accountability for the EHS budget, providing financial updates as needed. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the implementation of strategic plans to achieve the company goals of maintaining a work place free of recognized hazards and 100% compliance with all regulatory programs as applicable. The candidate will support site employee engagement programs by coordinating worker recognition for strong EHS performance while advocating for compliance and adherence to all EHS rules as they apply.

Base Pay Range: $53,000 - $95,0000
