Job summary

Dunmore International Corp. is seeking a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Intern to support safety programs in a roll-to-roll plastic film manufacturing environment.

You will participate in safety observations, data analysis, training support, and continuous improvement projects, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to maintain a safe, compliant workplace. This internship provides hands-on exposure to hazard identification, environmental compliance, and emergency

Qualifications

• Requires enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is expected.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety inspections, audits, and gemba walks to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Aid in industrial hygiene monitoring activities such as noise or air sampling.
• Participate in incident reviews and corrective action tracking.
• Collect and analyze safety data to support proactive risk-management initiatives.
• Support development and maintenance of safety training materials and resources.
• Assist with environmental compliance reporting (waste, emissions, recycling).
• Support SHE continuous improvement projects and communicate findings to teams.
