RTX in Manchester, IA is seeking a motivated student for a full-time co-op internship in manufacturing and industrial engineering. You will work on-site with Facilities and Manufacturing Engineers and production staff to resolve issues, implement improvements, and enhance safety across the plant.

During June to December, you will gain hands-on experience with aerospace electronics manufacturing processes, learn to manage multiple projects, and contribute to layout planning for new machinery

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run June-December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM major through the completion of the co-op session.
• Completed a minimum of 60 credit hours prior to the start of the internship/co-op session.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Experience using CAD software.
• Basic knowledge of electronics.

This position is classified as:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
