Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Quality & EHS Systems Engineer to support quality assurance and occupational health & safety activities in a manufacturing setting. The role ensures compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 45001 while aiding new product launches and promoting continuous improvement in quality and safety.

Responsibilities include APQP/PPAP support, documentation control, and Lean initiatives to drive safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Quality) or related field.
• 1–3 years in an automotive manufacturing environment with exposure to quality systems, customer-facing support, or EHS programs.

• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and promote a safety-first culture on the shop floor.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Technical Skills: Foundational knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP and Power BI is a plus. Basic understanding of Quality Core Tools (SPC, MSA, Cp/Cpk) and process auditing.
• Behavioral Competencies: Strong communication skills, eager to learn, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and a collaborative team player.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications: Exposure to or working toward CQE, Internal Auditor (IATF 16949/ISO 45001), or Six Sigma Green Belt certifications
