Job summary

Regular reporting, documentation, and collaboration with the Facilities Program Consultant are essential. Candidates should be prepared for extensive outside work and occasional office tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Software used by FDOH for Environmental Health Inspections, data collection and analysis
• Knowledge of Chapter 381 Florida Statutes, associated regulations and Policy 150-4 procedures
• Knowledge of the policies and procedures for the Public Pools and Faclities Programs within Environmental Health
• Knowledge of the Environmental health sciences
• Knowledge of Food Sanitation and Safety principles and currently a Certified Environmental Health Professional

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and risk assessments in a variety of facilities.
• Interact with the public during field work and document inspection results.
• Prepare reports and process inspection-related documents.
