Job summary

Forensic Analytical Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to perform on-site surveys, inspections, assessments, and abatement oversight for Industrial Hygiene, asbestos and microbial projects.

You may lead projects when Environmental Health Specialists are assigned and prepare field reports for client engagement. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Manager, ensuring compliance, and maintaining professional communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, health and safety, biological or physical science or equivalent experience.
• Must possess valid state certifications to perform assigned work.
• CSST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead on projects when Environmental Health Specialists are assigned.
• Communicate vital project information to the Project Manager, ensuring coordination and progress tracking.
• Obtain and track project numbers for accurate record-keeping.
• Serve as liaison between client and Project Manager or contractor for timely issue resolution.
• Perform air sampling, clearances, and on-site analysis in abatement projects.

Education

Bachelor’s of Science in industrial hygiene, health and safety, biological or physical science or equivalent experience
