Dakota Bodies is seeking an EHS Site Leader to oversee daily safety programs, partner with site leadership, and drive compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements. You will develop strategies, implement training, and lead incident investigations to prevent recurrence and reduce risk.
The role requires 3–5 years in EHS management within manufacturing, a B.S. in Occupational Health and Safety, CSP/OHST preferred, and strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills.
Reporting directly to the EHS Regional Manager, the EHS Site Leader role is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of their assigned site and will work to create and enforce a culture of safety within our organization. Partnering with the local leadership teams in implementing EHS procedures, policies, as well as conducting site assessments, the position will develop and implement action plans that drive closure of open issues and improvements resulting in improved safety performance and environmental controls. The role will develop, implement, and evaluate EHS policies and procedures. They will provide authority and leadership with respect to the running of the site EHS programs including the development of strategies, procedures, and training to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards to improve safety and reduce/eliminate EHS related business risks.
3-5 years of experience in EHS management. Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
