Arcadis is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our Sustainable Operations team in the Northeast. This position will support national and regional Environmental and/or Health & Safety regulatory compliance, auditing, and permitting projects. This will be a hybrid/remote role with approximately 25% travel and 75% office work. Candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, environmental engineering, environmental science, or other directly relevant EHS compliance disciplines.

As an EHS Compliance Specialist, you will work directly with senior engineers, safety professionals, and scientists on compliance, permitting, and reporting projects. You will support key clients, focusing on those in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. Your responsibilities include assisting with permitting and compliance strategies, preparing regulatory permit applications, and developing environmental or health & safety compliance policies, programs, procedures, and management systems. You may also perform site visits, compliance audits, trainings, and meetings. Additionally, you might prepare emissions or process inventories and annual reports such as Toxics Release Inventory Reporting and Tier II. You will have the opportunity to participate in all areas of EHS compliance.
Ability to travel up to 25% for project and client needs; most work will be performed from an Arcadis office or remotely.

We provide nine paid holidays and 15 days of PTO annually. The salary range for this position is $80,461 - $132,761, based on experience, education, and other factors.
