We are seeking a dedicated EHS Manager to oversee and enforce workplace safety in our food and manufacturing facilities at La Terra Fina. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, FDA, and other industry regulations, while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will partner with our HR Plant Manager and Operations team to ensure safe, clean, and secure working conditions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Focusing on technical safety aspects such as hazard identification, risk assessment, engineering controls, and safety system design.
2. Overseeing the implementation of safety policies, programs, and training to ensure compliance and foster a safety culture.
3. Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify hazards, analyze risks, and recommend engineering solutions.
4. Designing and implementing engineering controls to eliminate or reduce hazards.
5. Enhancing safety training and awareness through effective programs and sessions.
6. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining documentation and records.
7. Fostering a proactive safety culture by analyzing incident data and promoting employee participation.
8. Leading incident investigations, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
9. Leveraging technology and data for safety monitoring and performance tracking.
10. Collaborating on emergency preparedness, including designing systems and conducting drills.
11. Staying updated on emerging safety technologies and continuously improving safety programs.
