$85,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at Absolute Energy located near St Ansgar, IA. This candidate will participate in the overall responsibility of the development and administration of plant wide safety and occupational health programs including policy statement, formation and operation of safety committees, safety surveys, supervisory and employee safety training programs, and accident investigation procedures. Oversees the organization's compliance with various legal mandates, and analyzes processes and activities to achieve compliance with local, state, and natural environmental rules and laws.Advises senior management on potential environmental liabilities.May serve as a liaison between the organization and external regulatory and environmental agencies.

Qualifications

• Previous Environmental, Health and Safety experience
• Accident Investigation and Training abilities
• Experience in developing and implementing health and safety programs
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
• A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
