Wesley International, LLC is offering an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern position in Clarkston, GA. The internship provides exposure to safety programs, compliance documentation, and process improvement projects within a manufacturing environment.

The role supports the Safety Manager, involves safety walks, data reviews, and collaboration across facilities. Schedule is Monday–Thursday with flexibility based on class commitments; internship can be full or part-time.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (experience with databases or Power BI is a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments and facilities.
• Interest in workplace safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and updating Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventory documentation.
• Participate in safety walks, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple facilities.
• Contribute to the development of safety audit forms and checklists.
• Assist in drafting or updating safety procedures, and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hazard identification, corrective actions, and safety improvements.
• Assist in compiling, reviewing, and analyzing safety data, trends, and audit results.
• Support environmental compliance activities, including waste management and sustainability initiatives.
• Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Position Summary:

The EHS Intern works under the direct supervision of the Safety Manager to support environmental, health, and safety initiatives across all company operations and facilities. This position provides hands‑on exposure to EHS programs, compliance documentation, and process improvement activities. The intern will collaborate with teams to promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace across the organization.

Responsibilities:
