Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator (Lyman Manufacturing)

Currently this position involves responsibility for ensuring compliance with local and national regulations regarding environmental, health, and safety. The focus will be primarily on our SEW-EURODRIVE Lyman Manufacturing location, with a secondary focus on supporting corporate safety initiatives affecting all SEW-EURODRIVE US locations. Key responsibilities include reducing and preventing on-the-job incidents, environmental hazards, and managing chemical inventory tracking. The position is physically located on-site at the Lyman, SC facility, with occasional travel to other SEW-EURODRIVE locations and professional events.

Pay Range

$60K - $65K annually

Education

Preferably an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an industrial EHS discipline or related scientific/technical field.

Primary Tasks

• Collaborate with departments on safety initiatives and projects
• Organize and oversee EH&S training programs
• Maintain up-to-date permits and ensure compliance
• Manage chemical inventory systems in collaboration with plant management
• Conduct environmental and safety audits and inspections
• Oversee the Manufacturing Safety Committee
• Handle responsibilities related to safety, health, HazMat, OSHA, ergonomics, emergency response, and incident investigations
