An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join their team at the Lyman facility. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with local and national regulations while fostering a safe work environment. You will be responsible for implementing safety initiatives, managing chemical inventories, and conducting audits. Currently, this position involves responsibility for ensuring compliance with local and national regulations regarding environmental, health, and safety. The position will focus primarily on our SEW-EURODRIVE Lyman Manufacturing location with a secondary focus on assisting with corporate safety initiatives affecting all SEW-EURODRIVE US locations. In addition to compliance, the position will focus heavily on reducing and preventing on-the-job incidents, environmental hazards, and chemical inventory tracking. The position is physically located on-site at the Lyman, SC facility with the possibility of infrequent travel to other SEW-EURODRIVE facilities and professional learning events.
Pay Range: $60K- $65K/Annually
Education: Prefer an Associates or Bachelor's degree or higher in an industrial EHS discipline, or other scientific/technical discipline.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
