Job summary

Alumus in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Environmental Guest Associate to maintain a clean, safe environment and support infection control standards in a healthcare setting. You will perform cleaning, disinfecting, and light maintenance while coordinating isolation procedures with nursing staff to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months Environmental Services experience or minimum one year of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and disinfecting of all areas according to policy and schedule.
• Coordinates isolation cleaning procedures with nursing service and follows established protocols.

The Environmental Guest Associate is responsible for providing, maintaining, and performing day-to-day activities of the Environment Services Department. The key duties include maintaining a clean, comfortable, safe and sanitary environment, and light maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and disinfecting of all areas according to department policy, procedures and cleaning schedule.
• Perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. Coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with nursing service.
• Follow proper techniques when mixing chemicals, disinfectants, and solutions used for cleaning. Refer to manufacturer’s instructions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) months of previous Environmental Services experience OR a minimum of one (1) year of previous Customer Service experience required
