Job summary

Spyder Construction is seeking a strategic, technically fluent business developer to grow Spyder Environmental in Colorado. Based out of Littleton, you will map markets, engage property managers, owners, and GCs, and build a credible technical voice with regulators and industry peers.

You will own the growth strategy, lead qualifying efforts, and manage a robust pipeline. This role requires independent work, measurable results, and willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in BD, sales, or account management in environmental services.
• Solid knowledge of asbestos, lead, mold, meth and CO regulatory drivers.
• Track record of generating new business, not just managing existing accounts.
• Willingness to prospect proactively, without inbound leads.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; you build and measure plans.
• Experience using a CRM to manage pipeline and activity.
• A valid Colorado driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Colorado market growth plan for Spyder Environmental.
• Identify target property managers, owners, GCs, and consultants; prioritize high ROI.
• Lead with regulatory and technical credibility when engaging clients.
• Qualify opportunities with discovery on survey status, timelines, budgets, and decision-makers.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline in the CRM and report ROI.
• Represent Spyder at industry groups with clear goals and follow-ups.
• Provide market intelligence on competitors and regulatory changes to leadership.
