Environmental Geologist/Scientist/Engineer: Junior- to Mid-Level

Atlas Geosciences NW, a growing environmental consulting firm, is seeking a junior- or mid-level environmental geologist/scientist/engineer for one of our offices in Puyallup/Tacoma, Issaquah, or Olympia. This is a full-time hourly position assisting with soil, groundwater and/or soil vapor investigations, remediation projects, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and various research, report writing, and other office and field tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental science, or environmental engineering.
  2. 3 to 8 years of direct environmental consulting experience (above and beyond advanced degree or other institutional research work).
  3. Experience with and proficiency in technical report writing is preferred.
  4. 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required.
  5. WA UST Site Assessor certification is preferred.
