Onterris is seeking an Environmental Field Technician - Stack to conduct field tests outdoors and manage data collection in real-world settings. You will operate in a team of professionals and support testing at customer sites with strict adherence to methods and safety protocols.

The role requires flexibility for travel, a high school diploma, and the ability to work independently. DOT and OSHA certifications or clearances are anticipated, with potential weekend assignments throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Overnight travel up to 75% of the time for multi-week projects.

A Day in the Life

As an Environmental Field Technician - Stack, you'll be responsible for collecting data and spending most of your time outdoors in a hard hat rather than in a cubicle. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.

The compensation range for this role is $23.50 to $28.00 per hour.

To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

• Follow established testing methods, procedures, and processes to help support consistent and reliable source testing
• Perform field source tests at customer locations with professionalism
• Record test data ensuring information on datasheets is complete and accurate
• Project preparation: glassware preparation, cleaning procedures, repair, calibration, and fabrication

Ability to work in outdoor industrial settings, including climbing to and working on elevated platforms (50ft - 300ft) in accordance with OSHA/ANSI and other applicable safety standards.

Often works outdoors and may be exposed to hot and cold environments and extreme weather conditions, including sunlit, rainy and windy conditions.
