Job summary

Ensero Solutions is seeking an Environmental Field Technician for a former mine site near Canon City, CO. You will perform environmental sampling and monitoring across groundwater, surface water, soils, vegetation, and air, reporting to the Site Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or relevant work experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving, hands-on technical abilities; and teamwork.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of maintenance and operation of mechanical equipment or systems.

Responsibilities

• Environmental sampling including groundwater, surface water, soils, vegetation, and air.
• Prepare samples for shipment and document field records.
• Maintain and calibrate sampling equipment daily.
• Inspect pumping systems and read totalizers.
• Ensure site safety and proper PPE usage.
• Assist with office tasks as needed.
• Lead care and maintenance of pumps and environmental systems.
• Suggest improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Support special projects as required.
• Perform related duties as needed.
