Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental in San Leandro, CA is seeking a Field Technician to join our safety-conscious team. The role involves hands-on field operations such as confined space entries, soil remediation, chemical decontamination, and waste handling with a focus on customer service.

No experience required; training provided. Must pass OSHA/DOT exams, have a valid driver's license, and be willing to work on-call in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and train in hazardous waste field.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Successful completion of OSHA/DOT physical with drug/alcohol screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must consent to background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position.

Responsibilities

• Perform confined space entries, soil remediation, chemical decontamination, and tank cleaning/closure.
• Conduct sample collection and hazardous waste handling with focus on safety and customer service.
• Understand and follow DOT, EPA, California RCRA & OSHA regulations and TEI health and safety practices.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Assist with equipment operations and on-site support as needed.
• Participate in rotating on-call Emergency Response duties.
