Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Field Technician for our San Leandro, CA team. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right people. You will perform hazardous waste handling, site work, and customer service while learning DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations.

This safety-sensitive position requires lifting up to 60 pounds, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass screenings. We offer training and growth opportunities within a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Interest in hazardous waste field.
• Self-motivated with desire to learn.
• OSHA/DOT physical with drug/alcohol screening required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Consent to MVRO, background, pre-employment physical, and drug screening (THC).
• Must participate in random drug screening; safety-sensitive role.
• Able to lift 60 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform confined space entries, soil remediation, chemical decontamination, tank cleaning and closure, sample collection, and waste handling.
• Learn and apply DOT, EPA, California RCRA & OSHA regulations and TEI safety practices.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Pickup and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous waste with strong customer service.
• Wear respirator for full shifts and support emergency response duties.
• Assist supervisors and other operators; participate in rotating on-call emergencies.
