Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC is seeking an Environmental Technician for a full-time on-site role in Fremont, CA. The position involves performing non-emergency and emergency remediation activities under supervision, with duties ranging from confined space work to equipment operation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred associate or bachelor’s degree, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel for on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Work in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.
• Operate light and heavy equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, excavators, pressure washers and pumps.
• Attend mandatory training to earn certifications and to obtain information specific to responsibilities.
• Be on-call for emergencies; may require out-of-town travel.
