Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC, based in Fremont, CA, is seeking an Environmental Technician for full-time manual labor. You will support non-emergency and emergency response tasks, including confined space entry, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, and high pressure washing under supervisor guidance.

The role requires wearing PPE, safety-first mindset, ability to work alone or in a team, and willingness to travel on occasion.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to safety procedures.
• Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions during the shift.
• Work in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.
• Operate light and heavy equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, excavators, and pressure washers.
• Attend mandatory training to earn certifications and obtain task-specific information.
• Ensure all proper paperwork is signed and submitted.
• Work on-call based on rotating on-call schedule for emergency response; travel may be required.
• Comply with drug testing and physicals as required.
