Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC in Mead, WA, is seeking an Environmental Technician to perform non-emergency and emergency response tasks under supervision, including confined-space entry, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, and decontamination. Reporting to a supervisor, you will wear PPE, work in all weather, and operate equipment such as forklifts and pressure washers.

A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; 6+ months of general labor or construction

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently or part of a team while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; eligible to operate company vehicles.
• 6+ months of general labor or construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE properly and adhere to safety procedures.
• Performs labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions.
• Works in confined spaces and at heights.
• Operates equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, excavators, pressure washers, pumps.
• Attends mandatory training to earn certifications and to obtain information specific to responsibilities.
• On-Call based on rotating schedule for Emergency Response; may require travel.
