Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services in Placitas, NM is seeking an Environmental Technician to perform non-emergency and emergency response activities under supervision, including confined space entry, manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, and related tasks.

This full-time role requires PPE adherence, ability to work in all weather, travel for out-of-town assignments as needed, and participation in training to earn certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; must be eligible to operate company vehicles.
• 6+ months of general labor or construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights; operate light and heavy equipment.
• Attend mandatory training to earn certifications and to obtain information related to responsibilities.
• On-call for emergency response and possible out-of-town travel.
