Job summary

Envirocheck is seeking a field technician/environmental consultant to perform on-site inspections for asbestos, lead, mold, bacteria, and related IRU disciplines in residential, commercial, and industrial settings in Texas. The role emphasizes self-motivation, analytical thinking, and clear client communication, with on-the-job training and potential certification advancement.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years of qualifying experience, and state certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Bachelor of science in construction management, biology, chemistry, environmental science, or related science preferred.
• Minimum 2 years qualifying experience.
• TX Certified Asbestos Inspector, Mold Assessment Technician, or Lead Inspector required.
• TX Certified Asbestos Consultant, Mold Assessment Consultant, Lead Risk Assessor highly desired.
• Training available for additional certifications (HAZWOPER, ACAC CSMI, CMI, CIE, CFST).

Responsibilities

• Conduct medium size on-site inspections for asbestos, lead, mold, bacteria, and other industrial hygiene disciplines, including documentation of site conditions, sampling, and in-person consultation.
• Produce professional survey reports based on inspection notes and sample data with remedial recommendations as necessary.
• Coordinate with multiple parties regarding inspections while keeping all parties best interests in mind.
• Adhere to applicable state and federal laws and regulations and communicate that information to clients professionally.
• Assist in training programs for asbestos, lead, mold, and bacteria.
• Assist with sales calls and small size sales proposals for asbestos, lead, mold, and bacteria.
