Job description

Performance Environmental Services, Inc. is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Environmental Field Technicians for consulting and testing projects related to industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead.

Responsibilities include:

1. Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring and assessments for chemicals and noise.
2. Generate reports, formulate recommendations, and develop written programs.
3. Manage site-specific training related to federal, state, and local regulations.
4. Work from ladders or scaffolds and wear PPE such as respirators.
5. Conduct Indoor Air Quality investigations for industrial and non-industrial buildings.
6. Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and clients.
7. Manage time effectively with minimal direct monitoring.
8. Travel periodically to project sites, including out-of-state locations (travel costs covered by the company).

The successful candidate must:

• Have 2+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead consulting/testing.
• Possess good attention to detail and time management skills.
• Be able to provide site-specific training on relevant regulations.
• Ideally hold certifications such as NIOSH 582, Asbestos Inspector, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, among others.
• Be willing to travel as needed.
