Job Description

Performance Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Environmental Field Technicians for consulting and testing projects related to industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead.

The successful candidate must:

1. Have at least 2 years of experience in industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead consulting/testing.
2. Possess good attention to detail and be able to manage time effectively without continuous direct monitoring.
3. Be able to communicate effectively with persons of various levels, including employees, contractors, and clients.
4. Be capable of providing site-specific training related to federal, state, and local regulations.
5. Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring and assessments for chemicals and noise.
6. Generate reports, formulate appropriate recommendations, and develop various types of written programs.
7. Work from ladders or scaffolds and wear PPE such as respirators.
8. Have experience conducting Indoor Air Quality investigations for both industrial and non-industrial buildings.
9. Ideally hold one or more of the following certifications: NIOSH 582, Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Contractor Supervisor, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, Certified Microbial Consultant, or similar relevant credentials.
10. Be willing to travel periodically to cover projects as they arise (travel costs are covered by the company). Travel may include some out-of-state locations.
