Job Title: Environmental Field Laborer (Field Tech)
Job Summary:
The Environmental Field Laborer (Field Tech) must be able to work in compliance with various remediation and industrial maintenance projects. They must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute field work in remediation and industrial maintenance projects under supervision.
- Complete all job-specific and employee-related paperwork, including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver’s Logs, and Safety Meeting Forms accurately.
- Understand and work within the project's scope of work to ensure compliance with contract documents, schedules, and policies.
- Work safely at all times during job duties.
- Perform work in confined or varying spaces, involving squatting and crawling for extended periods.
- Follow directions, read, speak, and understand English, and interpret safety labels and hazard warnings.
- Safely drive and perform safety checks on all licensed vehicles.
- Be prepared for out-of-town travel, potentially for two weeks or more.
- Comply with company and client safety standards.
- Work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions and environments, including extreme conditions such as heat, cold, heights, and exposure to chemicals and loud noises.
- Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds or more, and using hands for extended periods.
- Maintain personal hygiene standards, including being clean-shaven to ensure respirator seal.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent skills in reading, writing, and reasoning.
- Experience in emergency response, manual labor, construction, or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- TWIC card required.
- OSHA 40-HR HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Must successfully pass background, criminal, and Motor Vehicle Record checks, with ongoing verifications during employment.
