Job Title: Environmental Field Laborer (Field Tech)

Job Summary:

The Environmental Field Laborer (Field Tech) must be able to work in compliance with various remediation and industrial maintenance projects. They must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Execute field work in remediation and industrial maintenance projects under supervision.
2. Complete all job-specific and employee-related paperwork, including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver’s Logs, and Safety Meeting Forms accurately.
3. Understand and work within the project's scope of work to ensure compliance with contract documents, schedules, and policies.
4. Work safely at all times during job duties.
5. Perform work in confined or varying spaces, involving squatting and crawling for extended periods.
6. Follow directions, read, speak, and understand English, and interpret safety labels and hazard warnings.
7. Safely drive and perform safety checks on all licensed vehicles.
8. Be prepared for out-of-town travel, potentially for two weeks or more.
9. Comply with company and client safety standards.
10. Work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions and environments, including extreme conditions such as heat, cold, heights, and exposure to chemicals and loud noises.
11. Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds or more, and using hands for extended periods.
12. Maintain personal hygiene standards, including being clean-shaven to ensure respirator seal.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED or equivalent skills in reading, writing, and reasoning.
2. Experience in emergency response, manual labor, construction, or industrial cleaning preferred.
3. Valid driver's license required.
4. TWIC card required.
5. OSHA 40-HR HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
6. Must successfully pass background, criminal, and Motor Vehicle Record checks, with ongoing verifications during employment.
