Job summary

LE002 Onterris Payroll, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician for our Tampa, FL office. The role offers an hourly range of $23–$30, commensurate with experience, skills, and location.

You will operate field monitoring equipment, collect samples, document results, perform O&M on environmental treatment equipment, and interact with clients while maintaining safety protocols and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of environmental collection, monitoring, sampling, testing and basic evaluation; or a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences, and/or Engineering in lieu of experience.
• Must have a valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability/willingness to travel.
• Complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification with the 40-hour class and annual 8-hour refresher.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates field monitoring equipment and documents results.
• Collects samples and prepares field reports.
• Performs O&M on environmental treatment equipment.
• Ensures proper labeling and handling of hazardous material and waste.
• Communicates site conditions and activities to Project Managers.
• Maintains safety practices and OSHA compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
