Job summary

Bowman is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to join our team remotely. This role involves collecting and compiling environmental data from sites, including bat and avian monitoring, across various field environments.

The candidate will operate field equipment, perform wetland/water delineations, document data meticulously, and contribute to data analysis while collaborating with multiple teams. A strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely reporting is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience required.
• Associate's degree preferred; Bachelor’s a plus.
• Three or more years of relevant experience; wetland/water delineation required.
• Willingness to work in the field 75-90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Carefully operate field equipment and instruments.
• Perform biological monitoring and wetland/water delineations.
• Generate and log detailed field notes and data collection sheets.
• Perform basic calculations related to sampling data.
