Job summary

Tyler Coupling in Marshfield, MO is seeking a hands-on Environmental Health & Safety professional to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This role involves fieldwork, waste management, inspections, sampling, and operating material handling equipment.

You will coordinate waste collection, maintain SDS and chemical inventories, prepare reports, and support the Environmental Manager in permits and compliance records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Health & Safety, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• Experience with EPA, OSHA, RCRA, SPCC, Stormwater, Wastewater, and Air Compliance Programs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Experience supporting Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001 programs.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Cority (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection, storage, labeling, inspection, and disposal activities.
• Perform routine inspections of waste accumulation areas, container storage locations, outdoor environmental areas, and spill prevention equipment.
• Assist production and maintenance personnel with proper handling, storage, and disposal of waste and environmentally regulated materials.
• Conduct site investigations, prepare inspection reports, and facilitate activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and procedures.
• Maintain environmental storage areas in a clean, organized, and inspection-ready condition.
• Assist with spill prevention, spill response, and cleanup activities as directed.
• Enter, maintain, and organize data within environmental management software systems, including Cority, EMS, EDM, and SharePoint.
• Assist with environmental audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Follows all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures.
• Reads, follows, and develops the Environmental Work Instructions.
