Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Transportation and Disposal specialist in Massachusetts to provide specialized services to clients, including sampling, manifesting, packaging, spill response, and coordinating transportation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for a chemistry-related bachelor’s degree and the ability to obtain a CDL with hazardous endorsement.

Candidates should have strong teamwork, customer service, and time-management skills, plus knowledge

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science preferred.
40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
Valid driver's license; ability to obtain Class A/B CDL with Hazardous endorsement.
Ability to follow DOT/EPA and Veolia policies.

Responsibilities

Sample waste streams according to prescribed policies and procedures.
Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup, labeling, loading/unloading, and coordinating transportation.
Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing/potential problems.
Comply with all compliance, health, safety, and procedures in accordance with Veolia policies.
Become familiar with DOT/EPA and Veolia regulations required for disposal paperwork.
Operate and maintain all equipment to ensure efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
